The Portfolio

Writer, journalist, award-winning blogger, copywriter and advocate.

I specialize in lifestyle content such as fashion, health and wellness articles, personal essays and interviews highlighting innovators such as designers and artists. My work has been featured online and in print internationally in major magazines, two books, countless websites, brands galore and my own various sites and projects. As a fashion journalist, I won 2012 Fashion Blog of the Year Award for an interview series I authored in Seattle, and have covered runway shows, collection releases, look book creations and held e-commerce editor roles in various companies. In nonprofit work, I underwent a Year of Service in Americorp, and today use my writing to help causes further their mission locally and internationally. Whether it's lifestyle, fashion or philanthropic in nature, I am committed to lending my expertise to companies and causes that champion individuality, which fuels my work to be all the more brave and vibrant.

At age 17, I fought stage 4B Lymphoma cancer, the experience of which continues to shape both the way I live and the way I write. Because the written word is my one true love, my work is deeply personal, insightfully optimistic,

yet always respectful of the grit it takes to be an authentic human being.
